What is First Friday?
On 7 First Fridays of the year, the community gathers for this arts-based, open house tour of beautiful downtown Kokomo. We hope you’ll join us!
Each event features a theme with downtown venues catering their activities to the month’s theme.
During each event, visitors to the downtown area will find discounts and activities at shops and restaurants, as well as live music, public art, family-friendly activities and more.
It’s easy to get involved with First Friday!
Opportunities for businesses and organizations throughout the community … not just those located downtown!
On the months with First Friday events, we’ll announce a list of businesses that plan to participate, along with that business’s contact information.
Those wishing to set up downtown may use this list to coordinate a place to set up for the event. If you’re a vendor that would like to participate but do not have a downtown location, we ask that you coordinate with a downtown business to host your activity.
Upcoming monthly themes!
This year, we’re bringing you fresh new themes to help support downtown businesses and draw people to the heart of Kokomo.
